There’s one key ingredient that’s not in your toothpaste: Its called Hydroxyapatite.

HAP, a natural calcium form found in saliva, is the same material as your teeth. It helps repair and protect them by filling gaps and cracks, binding to the surface to make them stronger, less sensitive, and whiter.

Ollie uses the optimal particle size (nano) and concentration (10%) of Hydroxyapatite to rebuild enamel over time, resulting in stronger, whiter, and less sensitive teeth.

Ingredient Information

Uncomplicated ingredients:

When it comes to products that go in and on your body, fewer ingredients is better! Ollie Clean Mint toothpaste is the simplest solution for a natural toothpaste with ingredients proven to effectively fight cavities. Many natural toothpastes remove all cavity fighting ingredients and leave you with less protection than other alternatives. Ollie is formulated with 10% nano-hydroxyapatite which has been shown to be just as effective as fluoride at preventing cavities. Free from SLS, glycerin, and artificial colors, you won’t find any cringe worthy ingredients.

Ollie only has 11 ingredients (two of which are water and coconut oil), each with a specific purpose. Here’s some keys to the formula:

  • Xylitol – a sweetener that literally “starves” streptococcus mutans – a bacterial strain that causes tooth decay. This should be a staple in any toothpaste.
  • Nano Hydroxyapatite – Very few toothpastes contain hydroxyapatite, much less 10%. The nano particles are small enough to fit into and heal small cracks and gaps within your teeth and the concentration means there will be enough to do the job.
  • Potassium Gluconate – a potassium salt compound that helps control tooth sensitivity.
  • Coconut Oil – has been shown to have anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Flavor

How does it taste?

The Clean Cinnamon is powered by cinnamon bark oil and cinnamon flavor and is a very strong flavor. The Sodium Glutimate provides foam without any risks of irritation. The Clean Cinnamon formulation is also much less watery than other natural toothpastes available. This is a very powerful cinnamon flavor that leaves your mouth feeling refreshed.

More information

Why 10% matters: Most studies which test the effectiveness of hydroxyapatite use a 10% formula. This concentration is the gold standard for cavity protection.

“HAP particles resemble naturally occurring enamel crystals. HAP particles have been shown to bind to the damaged enamel surface and fill in the porous surface irregularities in order restore the surface integrity”

There’s one key ingredient that’s not in your toothpaste: Its called Hydroxyapatite.

HAP (Hydroxyapatite) is the natural form of calcium your body uses to repair teeth. It works by filling small gaps and cracks on your teeth, binding to the surface to make them stronger, less sensitive, and appear whiter.

Cavity Resistance: It protects against cavities, matching fluoride’s effectiveness.

Less Sensitivity: It fills in tooth surfaces, blocking nerve access for better sensitivity relief.

Repair Cavities: It can reverse small cavities by filling cracks in teeth.

Whiter Teeth: It smooths teeth surfaces, naturally enhancing whiteness.

Fluoride free cavity protection

For over 50 years, fluoride has been the go-to for preventing cavities by strengthening teeth with a tough coating called fluorapatite. Hydroxyapatite (HAP) is the natural material your teeth are made of and can easily repair tooth surfaces. It's like a vitamin for your teeth and is a safe, non-toxic option, especially for kids, pregnant women, or anyone avoiding fluoride.

My First Choice in Toothpaste

I saw Ollie on Facebook and signed up for a free sample. I am a hygienist of 5o years, and the one thing that exasperates me the most is how many different number of toothpastes there are to choose from. My recommendations were choose from the bottom shelf....the least number of ingredients, and if you have sensitivity issues I would recommend a prescriptive toothpaste. If you are anti-flouride go to the top shelf. So what do I love about Ollie is the taste, nano hydroxyapatite, and no flouride. I am sharing with friends, patients, and family!

Still processing

Thank you for creating a good toothpaste! After a one week of using the product I feel that my teeth are not as clean as they normally are. I’m going to try to add a little abrasive with some baking soda to see if that changes my thoughts. I think the price point is good and as a dental hygienist, I know people try to be a little thrifty when it comes to purchasing toothpaste.
